JOB DESCRIPTION:
Searching for a Deal Strategy professional to join the organization. As Commvault continues to grow and expand our product portfolio, it is critical to have a Deal Strategy team who can quickly evaluate software and SaaS transactions and provide strategic guidance on pricing, deal structure and market intelligence.
Responsibilities will include:
- Use pricing analytics to guide field sales to the right price
- Construct large and complex software and SaaS deals to meet customer requirements
- Use competitive and market intelligence to assist in deal structuring
- Proactively engage field on pipeline to provide guidance and shorten sales cycles
- Work collaboratively with legal and finance to ensure smooth transactions
- Develop revenue/margin impact analysis to ensure deal compliance with corporate policy
- Create pricing recommendations using competitive and market analysis while working cross-functionally with product management, marketing, channel, and sales teams
- Serve as business partner with sales leadership to drive best practices across software and SaaS transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in Deal Strategy or Deal Desk role
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive sales behavior
- Collaborative nature and ability to work closely with several teams simultaneously
- Ability to communicate findings and analysis effectively to executive or senior leadership
- Proactive, responsible, accountable, and able to work as part of a team

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:
$68,000 - $195,500
