The Enterprise Technology team supports insights with data and the technical systems that give our teams leverage to achieve their objectives. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s business teams to understand their goals and ensure they receive the data and technical support they need to flourish.
We’re looking for a Lead Product Owner to join Asana’s Revenue Technology (RevTech) team. RevTech is a key pillar within Asana’s Enterprise Technology function that supports the Go-To-Market strategy and execution by linking tools, technology, and data initiatives to drive growth and scale. In this role, you will manage a team of two Product Owners based in Warsaw, Poland, and oversee the enhancement and maintenance of our critical revenue systems to facilitate seamless experiences for Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Customer Education, Renewals, and Customer Support teams.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve
- Oversee the sustenance and enhancements of revenue systems like Sales Cloud, Pocus, Outreach, Revenue Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, IronClad, SkillJar, and Tableau.
- Conduct evaluations of current 'Run the business’ requests triage and prioritization approach. Provide guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability for Run requests
- Serve as the technical owner for revenue systems, handling administration, data hygiene, configuration, fit-gap analysis, cost reduction, value realization, contracts, best practices, access controls, and governance processes.
- Collaborate closely with business partners (Revenue, Field Teams, RevOps, FinOps, Enterprise Technology, R&D) to address system issues and change requests promptly, ensuring scalable solutions.
- Work with data and integration teams to set up monitoring capabilities, identify data errors and inaccuracies, and recommend necessary automation.
- Partner with the pillar product manager to contribute to roadmap initiatives, system design, and architecture decisions. Operationalize initiatives and processes including requirements gathering, data analysis, documentation of specifications, and QA/UAT support.
- Develop and manage operational processes to address enhancement needs, overseeing the 'Run the Business' requests within RevTech. Identify and assess opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
About you
- 8+ years in supporting enterprise business systems, with 2+ yrs as a people manager building and mentoring a team of product owners/managers in a hyper-growth environment.
- Extensive experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and similar tools. Salesforce CPQ experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in implementation of business initiatives, and enhancing engagement and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements, conducting user research and understanding the customer journey.
- Aptitude for thinking strategically about product alignment with company goals, understanding market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Proficiency in Agile practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Collaborative work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and project management skills to handle multiple requests and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate vision, goals, and requirements to various stakeholders, with the ability to adapt communication styles as needed.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $207,000 - $263,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
