Title: Associate Account Supervisor, Managed Care

The Role 
Unlock Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Account Supervisor with a proven track record in healthcare strategy or healthcare communications/marketing. As an Associate Account Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic communications engagements by fostering client relationships, crafting effective campaigns to help clients achieve success in payor negotiations or revenue strategies, and driving the growth of our healthcare portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Communications Development
    • Create clear and comprehensive communication plans
    • Build strategic, targeted messaging and required materials to execute on approved managed care strategies
    • Prepare deliverables for final review with account lead
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in cross-functional teams of managed care leaders, finance teams, revenue cycle teams and analysts to execute integrated managed care strategies
    • Provide strategic guidance and ensure seamless execution of initiatives, ensuring they align with the client's objectives
    • Learn from more experienced team members to grow your skills
  • Market Insights
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and developments within managed care and healthcare industry
    • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients to stay ahead of the curve
  • Projects
    • Support projects to successful outcomes through communication strategies, analysis and research, data analytics and creation and implementation of campaign plans
    • Daily point of contact with key client contacts, as well as contact for the internal team to support the client's engagement
    • Contribute to meetings, and liaise and update clients on all activities

Ideal Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare strategy
  • Experience with (or a strong desire to learn about) managed care
  • Experience working in a consulting firm a plus
  • Proven success in managing and growing client relationships in the healthcare sector, providing valuable strategic counsel and thoughtful materials creation
  • Critical thinker and business savvy, with a desire to understand the business of healthcare and the relationships between payors and providers
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
    develop innovative solutions tailored to client objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive informed decision-making
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Ability to work quickly to adapt to changing client needs and provide recommendations, often without comprehensive details
  • A self-starter mentality
