Customer Service Representative

**This is a work from home position located in South-East MO

Starting at $14.00 per hour

Shift: Part-time Monday-Friday 7am-12pm

About EMT: Since 1996, we've provided compassionate, safe, and timely transport. Our goal is to transport any passenger - no matter what disabilities or challenges they may face. We take great pride in transporting our passengers to their desired destination. EMT serves organizations in the St. Louis, Missouri metro and surrounding areas, including neighboring areas in Illinois, as well as Cumberland, Maryland. These organizations include school districts, hospitals, doctor's offices, and more. We also transport individuals and families to and from appointments or simply when they need a ride.  

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) for EMT is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and transportation partners. The CSR will handle incoming calls, schedule transportation services, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns related to transportation requests. This role is essential in ensuring timely and efficient transportation for patients needing assistance to attend medical appointments, treatments, or other healthcare services. 

Essential Functions:

  • Interacts with customers via telephone or email to provide support and information on products or      services.
  • Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate supervisor.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.

Requirements

Requirements:

Education:

· Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

· 1-2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a fast-paced call-center or remote, work-from-home environment.

Abilities:

· Excellent communication skills including active listening.

· Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
