Position Summary

The Pharmacy Informatics Analyst is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively to address details, assist resolutions, and optimize requests, projects and new Epic installs. This position will allow you to perform work within support/solutions, deliver hands-on training and implement systems-wide plans for dynamic day-to-day work functions.

Responsibilities

  • You will understand and maintain applications configuration, build and database structure assuring database integrity for assigned systems
  • You will collaborate with end users, Clinical Informatics, Application and other teams and vendors to address or resolve system issues or problems
  • You will facilitate the design and development of new or improved operational processes, workflows, application usage and end-user training
  • You will identify and isolate the system application and performance issues utilizing relevant technical criteria, data, critical thinking, and methodic rule-out process. Research and implement practical and appropriate solutions, documenting outcomes for future use
  • You will update and maintain accurate master files, profiles, dictionaries, and other database management files as required
  • You will support the development and testing of clinical tools to support pharmacists and clinicians related to the medication use process

Requirements

  • Current Pharmacy License (RPh) required (within the U.S.)
  • Minimum six (6) years in pharmacy operations, either inpatient or retail pharmacy setting preferred
  • Previous installation experience with healthcare systems databases and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $159,890.00 - $216,299.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
