Property Tax Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Tax Scheduler / Property Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in data management tools, and a disciplined approach to repetitive tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate review and processing of tax-related documents

Must Haves

• Highly proficient in English verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Access for handling large data sets.
• Strong discipline in performing repetitive data-entry tasks with minimal human error.
• Ability to be trained to review invoices, work orders, and a variety of other documents to correctly identify sales tax at both detail and summary levels.
• Preferable to have an educational or work background in accounting or taxation.
• Experience working remotely using VPN, terminal servers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze invoices, work orders, and various documents to accurately identify sales tax at both detail and summary levels.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Access to manage and analyze large data sets effectively.
• Perform data-entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and minimal human error.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of property tax assessments and payments.
• Maintain organized records of tax-related documentation and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries related to property tax obligations.
