As a Revenue Accountant at Influ2, you will gain hands-on experience in managing accounts receivable, customer billing, collections, and revenue recognition processes within an international Software as a Service (SaaS) B2B environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with various international teams and enhance your expertise in financial operations, while utilizing platforms such as Chargebee, Stripe, Salesforce and QuickBooks Online.

What you'll do:
  • Analyze customer contracts and accurately record terms in billing and related systems.
  • Ensure timely and correct issuance of invoices to clients.
  • Accurately record revenue, accounts receivable, invoices, and customer payments using QuickBooks Online and other relevant tools, ensuring timely collections and accurate financial tracking.
  • Manage accounts receivable and assist in collecting outstanding debts.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and maintain comprehensive and accurate financial documentation.
  • Assist in recognizing monthly revenue in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Assist in revenue forecasting, analyze budget vs. actual variances, and contribute to the development and improvement of revenue processes.
  • Assist in calculating performance metrics and quotas for employees whose bonuses are linked to sales.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to ensure alignment on revenue-related initiatives and strategies.

  • Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, specifically in Accounts Receivable, preferably within an international software or technology company with complex and recurring revenue streams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reconciliation, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles, international accounting standards (U.S. GAAP), and subscription-based revenue recognition models.

  • Would be a plus:
  • Familiarity with subscription-based revenue recognition models and their practical application.
  • Working knowledge of the revenue processes in a SaaS business.
  • Experience with subscription management and billing systems.
