Temporary Legal Research Analyst

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (6 months)

Location: Remote (Must be available to work West Coast hours)

Position Description:

Accufile is seeking a temporary legal research analyst to provide legal and business research, and support services for our client, an AmLaw 200 law firm . The right candidate will have the knowledge and experience to conduct simple to moderately complex research assignments, and the ability to prepare accurate and cost-effective research reports related to state and federal legislations, regulatory history, and client background checks.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research for attorneys and clients using a variety of electronic and print resources; summarize findings for attorney review
Retrieve and deliver case laws, articles and other reference materials
Collaborate with the Business Development Team to compile client and business background reports
Assist attorneys with reference searches for electronic and print resources
Train new lawyers and staff on basic and advanced library processes and resources
