Senior Test Automation Engineer

Our client is a US-based learning management system. The company provides development and IT training services for software professionals. They offer online training courses for developers and IT administrators through their website.

In terms of this assignment, we will be working as an independent team with the client's stakeholders in the US.

IF YOU ARE

• A professional with 4+ years of proven work experience in automation testing of backend and microservices applications
• Experienced in test automation tools and frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Skilled with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Groovy
• Proficient in using Postman for writing test cases for APIs
• Experienced in performance test automation using JMeter, Blazemeter, or k6
• Capable of maintaining business communication with clients in English
• Familiar with the Mulesoft platform and Kafka (as a plus)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Create and enhance test automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability of automated tests
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases based on project requirements and user stories
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects
• Monitor and manage test environments as needed
• Review software design, architecture, and coding practices to ensure testability and identify potential quality risks
• Work with performance, security, and accessibility testing teams to integrate appropriate tests into the overall strategy
• Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results
• Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented
• Adhere to privacy information and data protection company policies
