[Hybrid Crypto Exchange] Backend Tech Lead

What You'll Do

As an Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing our client's backend engineering efforts. You will lead a full-stack team, focusing on developing core backend systems. Your role will involve ensuring consistency between smart contract data and databases, optimising wallet performance, and enhancing quality through rigorous testing. You will also oversee functional projects such as KYC processes for onboarding. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product development and implementation. Additionally, you will strengthen the authentication technology stack by enhancing security features.

• Lead and manage the development of core backend systems, including Edge Services: Product Backend, Notification Server, Authentication Server.
• Ensure consistency between smart contract data and our databases.
• Work on optimising the performance of our wallet.
• Enhance quality by adding unit/regression tests.
• Oversee functional projects such as KYC processes for onboarding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Web/Mobile engineering teams, to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
• Strengthen authentication technology stack by working closely with the Head of Security to enhance security features like multi-factor authentication (MFA), WebAuthn, and secure session management.

Proficiency in Go and familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and caching systems such as Redis are essential for this role. While not a requirement, experience in full-stack development and familiarity with blockchain technology will be advantageous.
