This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage a significant volume of cases related to mortgage foreclosures, collections, and other creditor's rights matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legal landscape in California and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This role is primarily remote but may require occasional travel to the firm's California office.Duties:Manage a substantial caseload of mortgage foreclosure, collections, and creditor’s rights cases.Represent clients in California state and federal district and bankruptcy courts.Handle all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, and conflict resolution.Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs.Provide legal counsel on matters related to TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and bankruptcy.Attend court hearings and make necessary appearances on behalf of clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor.Support the growth of the firm's California practice through leadership and collaboration.Requirements:Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.Licensed or eligible for admission to California federal district and bankruptcy courts.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.Familiarity with creditor’s rights laws and procedures, including discovery and appellate practice.Strong understanding of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code (preferred).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to client service.Ability to travel as needed for court appearances or office visits.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active California State Bar license (required).Skills:Proficient in litigation and case management.Strong legal research and writing skills.Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
