Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Solutions Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the American manufacturing landscape. We are dedicated to making automation accessible to all manufacturers, significantly enhancing productivity through our innovative Robotics-as-a-Service solutions. Our mission is to empower businesses to overcome their production challenges and tackle labor shortages head-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, sales, and internal teams to identify customer requirements and production challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth technical discovery calls to obtain detailed insights.
  • Analyze production specifications and constraints to devise effective automation solutions.
  • Design comprehensive automation solutions tailored to achieve production objectives using a variety of standard products.
  • Prepare and present solution proposals, adjusting as necessary based on customer and internal feedback.
  • Engage with senior leadership at client organizations to discuss proposals and advance sales opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless project handoffs from Sales/Solutions to Deployment for efficient implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects and proposals concurrently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide recommendations on procedural, design, or equipment modifications as needed.
  • Communicate insights on gaps in our offerings to leadership, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Visit customer sites to gather data and strengthen relationships as necessary.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in production or operational management within relevant industries.
  • At least 2 years overseeing end-of-line packaging or similar processes.
  • A technical or engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in CAD drafting accompanied by familiarity with end-of-line packaging automation.
  • Strong project management capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in production or operational management.
  • 2+ years of experience in end-of-line packaging processes.
  • Technical or engineering degree in a relevant field.
