Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to launch and grow our company’s operations in Lille or Paris. The role involves managing the sales pipeline and maximizing revenue by converting new clients through a short sales cycle. You will foster strong relationships with restaurant clients and work closely with an autonomous, multi-skilled team. The work will primarily be remote, with no fixed office in Lille or Paris, and a senior team member will serve as a mentor to 1 or 2 juniors.

Key Responsibilities

    • Establish and expand the company's presence in Lille.
    • Manage the sales pipeline and drive significant revenue growth.
    • Quickly convert prospects into clients through a short sales cycle (phone call + client meeting in restaurants).
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners.
    • Collaborate closely with a self-sufficient, versatile team; the work is mostly remote, with guidance from a senior team member who will mentor 1 or 2 junior team members.

Essential Skills and Experience

    • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in sales, preferably within a start-up or fast-paced environment.
    • Autonomy: Ability to work independently as part of a self-driven sales team.
    • Mentorship: A senior salesperson will provide guidance, with 1 or 2 juniors supporting the team’s efforts.
    • Location: Although the role is remote, candidates based in central Lille are preferred, to facilitate client meetings.
