Job Title: Events Program Manager II

Pay Rate: $50/hr

Job Type: 3+ month contract (Quarterly), Part-time (15-20 hours a week)

Location: San Francisco, CA (100% Remote)

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and driven Events Program Manager to join our innovative team. This pivotal role requires expertise in overseeing the comprehensive management and execution of internal offsites, events, and global community-building initiatives, all aimed at enhancing employee inclusion and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage our diverse event portfolio, which includes annual in-person offsites and community gatherings.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to bolster community engagement initiatives, thereby promoting inclusivity and effectiveness among employees.
  • Draft all communication for event attendees, encompassing registration site content, FAQs, announcements, and presentations.
  • Create thorough project plans, conduct regular assessments, and escalate risks when necessary to ensure impactful events.
  • Forge and lead collaborative working groups to support programs and strategic objectives, while partnering closely with event and business leaders for seamless cross-functional alignment.
  • Analyze data to extract insights that inform future events, including attendee feedback and goal achievement.
  • Design and implement scalable processes for events and programs, focusing on operational excellence.
  • Innovate strategies to integrate sustainability and community outreach initiatives into program offerings.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing both in-person and virtual events, including venue/vendor sourcing and budget oversight.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple programs and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong foundation in data-informed decision-making.
  • A genuine passion for community engagement and the creation of meaningful events.
  • Cultural awareness and understanding of diverse global workforce dynamics to foster inclusive programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to effectively engage with both internal and external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in presentation techniques.
  • Advanced design abilities, particularly in Google Slides.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Proficient in utilizing G-Suite applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in event planning and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
