Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Global Pricing team. The candidate should be highly committed to quality, efficiency, and teamwork in supporting Finance goals and initiatives while working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Pricing.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Analysis
- Make pricing recommendations to management regarding specific client offerings within the price exception process. Responsible for the analysis of sales, margins, transactions, competitive price position, price perception and monitoring the price exception process.
- Responsible for principle-based decision making of pricing exceptions.
- Providing pricing analysis on all aspects of proposal preparation, including RFP analysis, disclosure and compliance issues, terms, business risks, and general proposal content in a global realm.
- Responsible for developing of best practices of pricing by defining and implementing efficient pricing related processes, by providing pricing transparency and by facilitating continuous pricing related improvement initiatives.
- Supporting marketing in the determination of appropriate market-based list prices, promotions, pricing strategies and discounts.
- Regularly update pricing tables in ordering system as well as for integrity of pricing deals and exceptions.
Business Analysis
- Assist in the identification and analysis of various cost cutting and/or revenue generating opportunities by providing cost benefits analysis and return on investments.
- Support management team by providing business cases, financial and operational analyses of new sales channels, new program offerings, new markets, etc. in support of the company’s growth objectives.
- Coach/train sales managers and sales executives on how to apply pricing analytics to everyday selling and marketing decisions.
Qualifications:
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics
- 4+ years accounting, finance or pricing experience
- Experience with sales force automation tools and processes
- Ability to interact will all levels of Sales, Marketing and Operations
- Excellent quantitative skills including experience with financial modeling and corporate valuations
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Advanced skills with Excel, proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and / or equivalents
- Experience with data organization, visualization, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence processes
Benefits:
Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $81,660.00 to $110,250.00
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $101,660.00 to $137,250.00
