Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate data flow across systems.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help teams make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing data quality checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Work with databases, data warehouses, and other data sources to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
Optimize data queries and improve performance of BI tools.
Monitor and maintain data pipelines, ensuring timely data delivery to end-users.
Stay current with the latest BI and data engineering trends and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field
10 to 15 years of experience working in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role.
5+ years of customer facing consultancy experience preferably in global vendors
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data engineering solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data modelling.
Certifications in cloud technologies, data engineering, or related fields is a plus.
Good understanding of agile processes, able to handle ambiguity, data oriented decision making
Keep track of the latest industry trends and best practices
Keep attention to detail and solution oriented mindset
Great communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
