Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Principal Presales Solutions Architect at Argano plays a vital role focusing on providing strategic technical leadership and innovation to the presales team. This position requires in depth knowledge and profound expertise in enterprise systems and full lifecycle of analysis, design, software development, architecture, integration, testing and deployments. They are responsible for shaping the direction of technical sales initiatives and creating advanced, forward-thinking solutions and work directly with the Argano's sales team to assist in qualifying existing and prospective client technical needs, developing and presenting client solutions, assisting with proposals and promoting Argano's solutions and services to key clients. They provide technical leadership to only large-size prospects and partners to help them understand advantages of Argano's offerings and solutions to meet their business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the highest quality solution designs and implementation.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of current and planned applications, tools and technologies related to the Argano 4 Oracle supported platforms and tools.
  • Lead Project solution design through implementations, overseeing critical milestones .
  • Complete RFP responses
  • Work with the sales team to drive sales cycles to completion.
  • Promptly communicating, engaging, and acting appropriately to remedy client satisfaction issues occurring before, during and after an engagement, escalating to the PMO as necessary
  • Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to network and building strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the Oracle Cloud community
  • Meeting with client to advocate for process improvements to their existing business processes. Leading strategic business process transformation sessions and conversations to identify opportunities for improvement related to people, process or technology.
  • Lead design meetings with clients to identify their business process requirements and technical needs to determine proper solution for implementation.
  • Architect the overall proposed solution and implementation strategy
  • Perform quality control on estimates and Statements of Work related to scope, project drivers, assumptions, complimentary and competing initiatives, and critical path items
  • Participate in defining and delivering project proposals and estimates, statements of work and implementation strategies.
  • Communicate product information and provide guidance to clients and coworkers on issues, tools and techniques, enhancements, changes in processes and related information
  • Architect complex and large-scale solutions, including creating detailed architectural diagrams and specifications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their strategic goals, and aligning technical solutions, accordingly, produces technical and software specification documentation that allows remote development teams to implement solutions as designed.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  • Manage and prioritize the flow of work starting with idea intake, analysis, definition, backlog, and through the build and delivery phase.
  • Provide direction to internal project teams during the configuration and test phase to meet the proposed solution.
  • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Leverage market research, design thinking, and continuous exploration to understand customer and market needs.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field is expected.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred.
  • Ability to manage/deliver large projects, including experience planning and estimating preferred
  • Validated ability to support sales as Subject Matter Expert
  • Understanding of business-related drivers and parameters

Experience

  • Ability to understand fundamental Oracle Cloud Financials system design and purpose.
  • Understanding of project implementation methodologies and knowledge of challenges. commonly faced by client and implementation teams.
  • Ability to engage effectively at senior levels within organizations.
  • Strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning to stay current on trends and Oracle Cloud releases.
  • Willing to travel as necessary.
  • Track record of technically leading commercially successful software products.
  • Experience with at least 3 implementation projects as Solution Architect role.
  • Experience in various levels of Engineering and Professional Services including design, development and implementation of projects.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Oracle certified preferred.
