About the Role

Stitch Fix is searching for a unique individual for the Manager, People Insights & Analytics role. This role requires a blend of expertise in talent analytics, employee listening, and people data management. The successful candidate will be hands-on and involved in establishing Stitch Fix’s listening strategy, integrating experience/engagement measures with talent analytics to support evidence-based decision-making. 

This role will create and execute an integrated people insights and analytics roadmap that enhances a data-driven culture, improves reliability and trust, and advances Stitch Fix’s org health metrics and insight generation. These high-impact initiatives support our business priorities across People and Culture (P&C) teams, including Talent Management, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Business Partner teams. 

This role can be based remotely (US), and will report directly to the Director of People Operations & Analytics.

  • Establish organizational readiness plans and lead change management efforts across P&C to improve data literacy, advance organizational health metrics, and improve business decisions with 
  • Own people analytics platform management, Qualtrics, OneModel, and Looker, and align with source system owners (e.g., HRIS) and relevant partner teams across IT, legal, and people ops to develop and implement data governance across our systems
We’re excited about you because…
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data (e.g., Business Analytics, Human Resources Management, Applied Statistics, Data Science), MBA/MA/MS preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant People/Talent data and analytics experience in Human Resources, measuring and communicating organizational health metrics and providing insights into workforce problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches
  • 2+ years of designing and managing employee listening programs, including pulse surveys, action planning, and integrating talent metrics to enable people-related decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more BI Platforms/visualization tools, including OneModel or Looker
  • Hands-on Experience with Workday
  • Experience creating and analyzing employee survey data using Qualtrics
  • Experienced with data lifecycle management, visualizations, data storytelling, developing storyboards/dashboards, and insight generation.
  • You are an exceptional problem solver with a dynamic range ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights.
  • Skilled in driving change management and adoption with a focus on communicating impact and outcomes; this may include summarizing complex concepts, decisions, and risks to teams across the business.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, effective presentation skills, and comfort with executive-ready summaries and presentations (Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel
  • Experience with basic inferential statistics and research methods
  • Experience building and debugging data pipelines
  • You translate ambiguous questions into structured hypotheses, identifying key drivers and creating compelling narratives and insights. 
  • You are curious about people and love learning from different backgrounds, working styles, and perspectives. You also adapt your approach to succeed.

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range
$170,000$180,000 USD
