You will drive continuous improvement within the supplier base collaborating with Commodity SQEs and Inspection Leaders across IET (Industrial and Energy Technology). You will act as Supplier Quality representative in the cross-commodities and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives with focus on Gas Tech Services business.

As Gas Technology Services Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Starting from the analysis of data related to the escaping defects, working on the identification of improvement actions, such as quality requirements identification and inspections.
  • In partnership with commodity SQEs, fostering the improvement actions to increase the suppliers’ performances when serving the Gas Technology Service business unit.
  • Driving metrics and data analysis standardization across the commodities and GT Service BU (Cost of Quality, Escaping Defects, Non-conformities).
  • Execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions (CA) in case of escaping defects to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Supplier’s related Non-Conformity Record (NCR) management.
  • Carry out periodic Supplier audits and manage the on-the-job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans.
  • Collaborating within the Supplier Quality team, the Quality GT Service business, and IET Quality organization on specific workstreams.

  • Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Have a data driven mindset and apply statistical method.
  • Communication skills both internally with different functions and externally with suppliers.
  • Attitude to set aggressive targets and change status quo.
  • Availability to travel frequently.
  • Be familiar with continuous improvement methods and program management.
  • Be fluent both in Italian and English
