Job Description & Summary
A career in Sales and Marketing will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programs and media events to promote and sell PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.
Our Business Development team supports PwC and its clients by developing sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities. As part of the team, you’ll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilization of all account management methodology and business development tools.

Our Emerging Company Solutions (ECS) practice is national in scope and has a 25-year history of working with emerging growth companies. Candidates should demonstrate superior performance in professional services selling by leveraging existing relationships & developing new relationships within this ecosystem, including the Emerging Company C Suite & the organizations/individuals that influence their decisions and venture capital related organizations.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts including:
- Understanding of the sales process, especially influencing buying decisions through a sales framework, partnering with marketing activities and coaching teams in sales pursuits;
- Identifying and qualifying prospects through knowledge of VC/PE investment trends, with a proven track record in developing and maintaining a target list, as well as driving pursuits through regularly scheduled targeting meetings;
- Utilizing Salesforce and other business development tools;
- Exhibiting the ability to build, maintain and deepen relationships consistently with influencers and buyers at emerging companies;
- Demonstrating proven networking skills and behaviors exhibited over a sustained period of time;
- Utilizing sales cycle methodology, account and relationship development methodology, to drive a business development culture within local ECS and sector based teams;
- Achieving assigned sales objectives with the ability to work against an annual quota with consistent measurement of wins and pipeline;
- Collaborating and working in a team environment, as well as working effectively within a matrix organization; and,
- Influencing and communicating effectively when writing, speaking and/or presenting to others. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader;
- Coaching other sales professionals, including understanding and utilizing Firm resources to advance account/sector teams; and,
- Working with senior leadership to deliver and execute on an optimal go-to-market strategy focused on revenue growth.

The salary range for this position is: $122,500 - $495,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
