About the job

We are looking for ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance community in our office in Manchester.  Our Commercial Finance team are responsible for business partnering with our Sales and Product teams by providing relevant insight and analysis, along with effective challenging to help them drive performance.

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will provide commercial finance support to either our Retailer Development & Support teams, influencing and driving them to execute their full-year financial plan.  You will be responsible for leading the annual financial plan and rolling forecast processes for the teams you support and will provide monthly and weekly insight into performance.  

You will proactively gain an understanding of new products, develop KPIs, and drive performance discussions with stakeholders. Monthly reviews and analysis of revenue and key metrics will be required, working with the Business Insight and Reporting teams to ensure information supports strategic decisions. Ad-hoc analysis will be provided as necessary.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, a proactive approach, and problem-solving skills to deliver value to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will analyse large datasets to provide insights, identify risks and opportunities, and influence stakeholders to drive commercially sound and financially secure decisions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders across financial and non-financial backgrounds   
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience modeling data
  • Curious individual with strong commercial awareness    
  • Proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset, Ability to work autonomously.

We’re offering a salary of £35,000 – £42,500, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
