Job Summary

The Acuity Brands Sales, Marketing, and CX Leadership Program is a two-year rotational experience designed to develop high-potential candidates into impactful Sales, Marketing, and CX professionals through hands-on experiences that will align your strengths to the biggest challenges we face.

 

Each Sales, Marketing, and CX Leadership Program Specialist spends two years rotating every 6 months within the Sales, Marketing, and CX functions. Each rotation's purposeful design is to give participants opportunities to develop their business acumen and skill proficiency. Upon graduation from the Leadership Program, participants will have a clear understanding of how they fit into the larger company strategy and will have developed the necessary skillsets to become a future leader at Acuity Brands.

 

This position is U.S.-based, works remotely, and starts employment on January 13, 2025.

 

Along with the valuable knowledge gained within the rotations, recent graduates will participate in activities to enhance business acumen and personal growth. Some of these activities include:

 

  • Specialized onboarding for all participants to ensure integration to the organization and program
  • A one-on-one mentorship from a Sales, Marketing, or CX leader to serve as a mentor for the duration of the program and beyond
  • Social and networking events to help forge connections with both peers and leaders across the business
  • Frequent opportunities to come together with program peers to learn about various business processes and initiatives
  • Leadership report-out meetings to share your rotational learnings as well as performance reviews aimed at identifying strengths and areas for growth

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Each Leadership Program participant will rotate across sales, marketing, and customer experience departments to expand skills, experience, and knowledge while aligning to topics of interest. The rotations will include:

 

  • Core/Foundational experiences that form the background of a career to ensure a well-rounded understanding of key subjects
  • Structured trainings to develop key knowledge 
  • Intentional connectivity outlets to drive relationships, increase exposure and invest in inclusivity

 

Some of the potential groups an LP may experience include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Regional Field Sales
  • Customer Project Management
  • Channel Marketing
  • Customer and Technical Support
  • Sales Channel Effectiveness
  • Brand and Product Marketing

 

Education (minimum education required)
Bachelor of Arts
Bachelor of Business Administration
Preferred Education (i.e. type of degree)
Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing or Business Administration
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • 0 to 2 years of applicable work experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

The range for this position is $53,400.00 to $96,100.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
