Job Overview: 

Omada is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health (BH) Consultant to join our Clinical Services team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Behavioral Health, the BH Consultant will leverage their experience and expertise as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to motivate and uplevel our care team. The BH Consultant has no direct member contact. The role focuses on enhancing the team’s capabilities in handling BH concerns, ensuring they can effectively support our members.  This position enables Omada to scale BH support across healthcare services, enhancing overall care quality.

Your impact:

As the Behavioral Health Consultant, you will: 

  • Serve as the initial responder for clinical questions related to BH and act as the primary backup for BH escalations when necessary.  
  • Collaborate  with Health Coach Operations to identify and implement training needs for the care team.
  • Elevate any clinical or safety issues, as the first point of contact.
  • Develop and deliver training on various BH topics to the care team.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure the care team has the necessary BH support to serve Omada’s members effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with a remote team, fostering clarity and cohesion.

To be successful, you will need to: 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with a Master in Social Work 
  • Maintain an unrestricted LCSW license
  • Demonstrate high clinical acumen in BH issues
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Feel passionate about the success, learning, and development of the larger care team, with a strong desire to enhance their ability to deliver care to members
  • Be flexible, and willing to experiment with new approaches as we evolve our BH offerings
  • Stay connected to Omada's mission and understand how it impacts your day-to-day work

Working Conditions:

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $80,000 - $100,000, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $72,000 - $90,000

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus. The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
