Business Operations Analyst

The Business Operations Analyst partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide support for specific project needs as well as support of daily business operations at the GRC including finance processes, staff allocations, and overall fiscal management of departmental resources. Responsible for handling travel approvals and reimbursements for staff, purchase requisitions, costing allocations, cost share reporting and other administrative tasks.

Cultivates working relationships that support efficient fiscal management of sponsor funds and overall GRC business operations. Develops and participates in training of GRC staff in budgeting and business operations topics. Supports project teams in development of standardized business purposes and justifications for documentation needed for specific projects. May propose or formulate policies and processes that support efficient business operations and ensure alignment with the GRC mission, its diversity, equity and inclusion vision and its strategic goals.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

Required Qualifications

At least two years of relevant experience in grants or fiscal management is required.  Organizational skills and a strong attention to detail are required to be successful in this position. 

Additional Desired Qualifications

2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
