Job Description:

Summary

Individual will support the Business Development Team to meet their annual business objectives.  Areas of focus include agency management, marketing, distribution automation, and product enhancements. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Agency management tasks that include contracts, agency performance tracking and communication, agent rehabilitation plans, identification and engagement of new agents.

  • Development and implementation of marketing activities that promote the Hallmark brand and effectively communicate the business unit’s product appetite and business objectives.

  • Draft, edit and proofreading of all newsletters, brochures and other agency focused materials.

  • On-boarding and training of new agents.

  • Ability to travel to visit agency partners in support of our business objectives

Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with a commercial multi-line property & casualty company.

  • Basic knowledge of commercial property & casualty products including knowledge of coverages provided in insurance policies.

  • A creative mindset to assist in development of compelling marketing materials.

  • Basic knowledge of standard agent contracts, commission levels and profit share schemes generally found in the industry is preferred

  • Basic knowledge of agency management metrics and reports is preferred.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally internally and externally as required.
