Job description

This is a remote position.

Full-time (40 hours a week)
Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Manila Time)*includes 1 hr unpaid break

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and construction cost estimation, playing a key role in project planning, cost analysis, and creating detailed construction plans. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of project design and estimates, ensuring that project costs and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and take-offs for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineers to ensure all project needs are met.
• Create detailed construction plans and diagrams that adhere to local building codes and industry standards.
• Develop preliminary designs and work on full-scale architectural projects from concept through completion.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments as necessary to gather information for project planning and cost analysis.
• Use estimating software and CAD tools to develop detailed project documentation.
• Provide value engineering and cost-saving options where possible.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, construction techniques, and building regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architect and/or Estimator, preferably in commercial or residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction cost estimation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional licensure in architecture (preferred but not required).
