Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: 9 AM to 1 PM Monday to Friday


Timezone: New York (EST)

About the Company:
Our client is launching a private equity firm with a focus on identifying, evaluating, and acquiring promising assets within a two-year window. The firm is in its early stages, currently operated solely, with plans to expand through outsourced support. This role will be critical in assisting with administrative and operational tasks during a pivotal growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily email correspondence, including inbox management and sending/replying to emails.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and calendar management.
  • Conduct online research based on guidance, with a focus on potential acquisition targets.
  • Assist with managing CRM tools such as Reply.io to track outreach and communication with potential sellers.
  • Organize and maintain digital filing systems for accounting and administrative purposes.
  • Gather and consolidate data from various websites for business analysis.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documents.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration, aligning with US Eastern Time business hours.


Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in administrative roles, with experience in private equity, search funds, or working with finance executives being a strong advantage.
  • Strong research skills, including the ability to gather and synthesize data from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting executives, including calendar management, report preparation, and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Zoom, Teams, and ChatGPT.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, confidential, and high-stakes environment.
