About The Role
The Correspondence Clerk is responsible for supporting the Claims Department by performing administrative tasks that support the department’s operations.  The Correspondence Clerk supports the team by scanning documents, logging of information received, signing for mail and packages, sorting and delivery of mail and other administrative tasks as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Sort Incoming mail
  • Sign for mail, packages and deliveries
  • Daily printing assignments
  • Daily certified mail tracking and reporting  
  • Prep, Scan and Log correspondence and appeals 
  • Photocopy and scan documents
  • Prep documents and packages for mailing
  • Letter generation and mailing
  • Performs various other clerical duties as required

Essential Qualifications
  • Must be a High School graduate 
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move boxes 25 pounds and under
  • Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player adaptable to new or changing circumstances
  • Previous clerical experience preferred
  • Must live near Westbury, NY
  • In office position/non remote position

Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $46,000

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of the posting of an advertisement and may be modified in the future.
