Job description

General Management Naval Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Support defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution. Apply basic principles, theories, concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of analytics or project and program management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook

  • Ability to use verbal and written communication skills for daily engagement with the client and teammates and occasional presentations regarding task progress, recommendations, and strategy

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with databases

  • Knowledge of Navy Combat and Systems

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Access, Project, or Publisher

  • Knowledge of Adobe Pro

  • Knowledge of DoD or Naval product support concepts, principles, and standards

  • Ability to adapt to existing work processes to independently accomplish tasks on time

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,700.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
