A day in the life:

As an Account Manager within Private Client Services (PCS), you will be responsible for developing and servicing new and existing Private Client Group accounts.  Serving as an advisor to clients, you will maintain and retain existing business, while following up on referrals and rounding client accounts.  You will become an integral part of this team, receiving on the job training and on-going support from management and team members.

We will count on you to:

  • Act as the primary contact with the Producer and/or Client.
  • Place new business and cross sell as needed to maintain client’s insurance program.
  • Function as the primary contact with all vendors to ensure proper processing of all requests necessary to effectively maintain the client’s insurance program.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and be able to analyze situations, make proactive decisions and follow through.
  • Prepare and obtain pre renewal updates for all clients.
  • Create Acord applications, including Supplemental, as needed, for submissions to carriers.
  • Prepare proposals or summaries for renewal terms when requested.
  • Issue Acord Insurance Binders for renewal terms if policies are not delivered to clients prior to renewal
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies  
  • Create requests for changes to client’s coverages
  • Process mail and phone requests on daily basis
  • Prepare documents for renewal terms, including insurance proposals and binders

What you need to have: 

  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience with at least 2+ spent within Personal Lines
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but High School Diploma and equivalent work experience is acceptable
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essential
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills

The applicable base salary range for this role is $49,400 to $105,400.  The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
