Responsibilities

Our client is seeking Technical Cloud Services Manager to join their team! The Technical Cloud Services Manager will oversee the implementation, architecture design, and support of cloud-based solutions, primarily focusing on AWS and Azure environments. This role involves managing a technical team responsible for providing 24/7 cloud support services, ensuring client needs are met and service level agreements (SLAs) are upheld. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, customer service expertise, and a deep understanding of cloud technologies and security principles.

  • Lead and manage a technical team providing 24/7 support for cloud services, ensuring adherence to SLAs and meeting client expectations
  • Oversee the implementation and architecture design of cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments
  • Conduct monthly service reports for clients, addressing any escalations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored cloud solutions
  • Ensure security principles and technologies are effectively integrated into cloud implementations
  • Travel up to 25% as required to meet with clients and oversee projects on-site
  • Manage escalations from clients, providing effective solutions and ensuring issues are resolved promptly
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and support service retention

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in technical solutions implementation, architecture design, and cloud environment management (AWS and/or Azure)
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams supporting private and public cloud environments
  • 10+ years of experience in a management/leadership role, including managing 24/7 SLA-based support services
  • Working understanding of security principles and technologies for cloud implementations
  • Strong customer service skills, including experience handling client escalations and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Experience managing monthly service reports and providing consistent client communication
  • Well-rounded experience with multiple cloud platforms

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing a team responsible for 24/7 cloud support services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and managing escalations across different platforms

Education/Certification Requirements

  • AWS or Azure certifications at the design level is required
