Currently, we at Rho are seeking a Biostatistician II for our team to work 100% remote on a permanent basis.  As a Biostatistician II, you will have the opportunity to lead statistical analysis activities for clinical research projects, maintaining a steady, open dialogue regarding study execution as it relates to timelines, data quality, and interpretation of the results.  Rho's team-oriented environment requires you to have open communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely as a member of a cross-functional study team. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, maintain, and archive SAS program code to conduct planned and exploratory statistical analysis of clinical data
  • Interpret the results using written, oral, and graphic methods, as appropriate, either in a statistical report or as part of a clinical trial report
  • Develop CDISC compliant datasets
  • Prepare analysis plans and specifications for analysis data sets and data displays (tables, listings, & graphs)
  • Collaborate with statistical programming team on the production of datasets and displays
  • Identify and troubleshoot missing, miscoded, or incomplete data and work with clinical team to resolve issues
  • Perform sample size computations in conjunction with clinical staff to determine the appropriate number of subjects necessary for the investigation, taking into consideration the interpretability of the results from a statistical and clinical perspective as well as applicable regulatory requirements
  • Develop and/or validate randomization schemes for clinical trials
  • Manage project responsibilities with decreasing levels of supervision or regular support
  • Takes initiative to complete project-specific responsibilities with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
  • Master's or higher level degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field along with at least 2 years of experience conducting statistical analysis for clinical research projects; proficiency in SAS (in addition, proficiency in R is a plus)

As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience. The range of starting pay for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 per year
