At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

What you'll get to do...
- Lead a motivated, success-driven engineering manager ready to lead the development of our next-generation WordPress hosting platform.
- Experiment with different approaches and technologies.
- Delivers feature epics to production in sync with team sprint rhythm, tracks and improves team velocity, and provides reliable delivery estimates.
- Translating complex business objectives into simple, scalable solutions.
- Embracing a One System mindset and driving platform unification.
- Utilizing data and analytics to enhance products and customer experience.
- Accountable for code quality, scalability, and testability.
- Influencing decisions and outcomes during interactions with leaders, executives, and customers.
- Engaging in Tech Talks, open-source contributions, hackathons, and other activities to recognize and celebrate accomplishments. Exemplifying inclusive leadership behaviors and managing diverse talent.
Your experience should include...
- 4+ years of experience managing a development team.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in designing highly scalable software solutions.
- Proficiency with any of these languages: PHP, Python, Golang, TypeScript, Rust, Lua.
- Proficiency with AWS and OpenStack technologies.
- Experience with automating various processes, from build tools to monitoring.
- Deep knowledge of agile development methodology.
You might also have…
- Hosting industry experience, for WordPress or otherwise.
- Experience integrating software with Ceph, Cilium, Nomad, SELinux, NGINX Unit, and Traefik.
- Knowledge of software security best practices.
