RAPP Chicago is looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our award-winning Account Leadership team.

YOUR ROLE:
The expectation is that the Assistant Account Executive is master of co-ordination, demonstrating high potential in core Business Leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. Partners and owns the relationship with clients at the most mid-jr. levels. Is an Agency driver that works to keep the agency operations moving along.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a liaison between clients, cross-functional leadership and internal departments and team members.
- Actively listens to suggestions and wishes of the clients and can help track them clearly internally
- Builds and fosters client trust and effectively helps manage their feedback and requests.
- Builds strong internal relationships between team members and has an unshakable “can do” positive attitude.
- Proactively helps manage workflow effectively, partnering with Tech, Program Management, and Product Teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Helps manage projects and supports AE, Supervisors & ADs in management of projects.
- Assists with project timelines/roadmaps with key team members including Program Management.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings for status reports/updates, presentations and regroup sessions among internal team members and IAT partners
- Provide input during project development based on insights and knowledge of project objectives
- Assists with compiling and distributing post meeting documents detailing key discussion items and next steps
- Organizes and maintains pertinent documents and their locations
- Can help engage with sub-contractor communication to ensure success of key tasks across campaigns and product releases.
- Comfortable working across a variety of customer experience touchpoints and be the integration point for teams within Tech, Contact Center, Product, and other Account Leads.
- Helps with overall client satisfaction and service/product quality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Has eagerness to learn and comfortable asking questions to build their knowledge of the client’s business and the inner workings of teams from Tech, Product, and Program Management.
- Champions the work we do for the client and also helps serve as a voice for them internally.
- Partners with Tech, Strategy, Product, and Program Management to deliver and course correct.
- Stays calm and focused under pressure and can skillfully manage a high volume of work across different teams.
- Actively involved in maintaining company culture and attending / supporting team events
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience of internship or combined AAE experience in direct marketing/advertising/digital marketing.
- Previous integrated marketing account experience a plus
- Possess excellent planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Is an excellent team player with outstanding communication, written and presentation skills
- Possess basic exposure and knowledge of Technology or is willing to learn (e.g. platforms, systems front/back end, user flows, product release schedules, etc.).
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of cross-functional projects.
- Possess a basic understanding of the tenants of marketing including multi-channel campaigns, email, mobile marketing, customer relationship management, and data/analytics

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
