Job description

Industry leader in electrical insulation systems is looking for an experienced Account Manager to oversee existing accounts and drive new business initiatives in their automotive division! Are you an experienced sales professional with electrical component knowledge? Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!                                      
 
Position Summary_________________________________________________________________________
Grow existing accounts and drive new sales initiatives and business with the focus on electrical components for automobiles. Management of existing and new automotive projects. You will be responsible of the growth of their area, as per assigned targets.
 
Location: This is a fully remote position, but would require roughly 50% travel to the Detroit area for onsite visits.
Compensation: Salaried position BOE. Lucrative commission package.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handling daily operational issues for regional customers.
  • Follow-up on all new inquiries.
  • Identify potential new clients and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal technical team to recommend products.
  • Visiting customers for business discussions.
  • Visit their premises for in-depth discussion on their requirements, accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs.
  • Manage existing accounts and look to identify growth opportunities
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or Technical background is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or technical sales position
  • IT skills appreciated; including CRM experience
  • Experience working directly with customers and prospects
