Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Citrix Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:

Designs and manages highly complex Virtual Desktop infrastructure solution, with an emphasis on delivering multi-user shared desktop platform and seamless applications.
Designs and manages solutions within Citrix Cloud and Microsoft Azure to drive cloud-first initiatives.
Plans and facilitates the migration and lifecycle of Citrix components for on-prem and cloud environments.
Key contributor to VDI improvement efforts, and acts as SME on cross-functional project teams.
Gathers and compiles accurate information to analyze risks and develop viable solutions.
Proactively improves or automates management processes using PowerShell or other scripting methods.
Plans high-impact changes to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and support processes.
Creates and maintains architecture diagrams, configuration runbooks, and operating procedures.

Qualifications:

Expertise in Application Layering using Citrix App Layering technology and FlexApp.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues as they pertain to the Citrix stack, Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems and Applications
Expert knowledge on managing “Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops” components in the cloud control plane.
Experience working with Citrix Windows Environment Manager for Cloud (WEM).
Experience working with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS)
Experience working with Citrix User Profile Manager (UPM) and Profile Unity (ProU)
Experience working with various hypervisors, such as VMWare and Acropolis
Experience installing, updating, and working with Citrix Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM).
Familiar with project or work management concepts such as: ITIL, Scrum, LEAN, Agile, or DevOps.
Ability to publish applications and desktops while testing with users to confirm successful implementations
Ability to communicate with our customers, organize validation testing and business checkout as it pertains to the monthly image cycle.
