THE PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST POSITION
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Procurement Specialist to assist managing Sunnova’s distribution partners and other indirect categories of spend; workflow tasks within the department; create and interpret reports describing distribution efficiency; and develop positive working relationships internal stakeholders as well as with third party vendors.

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES
•Support Sunnova’s supplier relationship management with Sunnova’s distribution partners and other suppliers within indirect procurement.
•Assist in development of category strategies where needed.
•Develops Requests for Quotes (RFQ) bid tabs.
•Work closely with Buyers to ensure equipment availability through Sunnova distribution channels.
•Quarterly pricing updates to distribution partners price list.
•Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with Sunnova distribution partners and/or vendors as required.
•Assist as needed with inventory reconciliation process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s Degree.
•2-4years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.
•Efficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Legally authorized to work in the US for ANY employer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•3+ years with Procurement / Supply Chain experience including, but not limited to, sourcing, managing relationships, and negotiating pricing/agreements.
•Developing and executing category strategies.
•Ability to use Microsoft Word’s redlining functionality.
•Salesforce ERP and other related software experience.
•Distribution & logistics experience.
•Ability to use advanced Excel functionality to gain insights or for stakeholder reporting (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting & searches).
•Deep understanding of the procure to pay process. 
•Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

WORKING CONDITIONS
•Your choice to be fully remote or a hybrid schedule of 3 days each week in an open office and work from home the other 2 days.
•No travel required.
•No driving responsibilities required for position except to commute to office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Extended period of time working at a computer workstation.
