We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will grow our business as much as our clients, ranging from under-the-radar start-ups on the verge of disrupting their industries to recognized brands, including Global 2000 list companies. 

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Experience in international software development services or software solutions, with a focus on proactively reaching out to new clients
  • Proven ability to independently attract and engage clients from the UK and Europe, using creative strategies and personalized outreach techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to resonate with diverse clients.
  • A solid understanding of the sales process, including how to measure and evaluate your outbound efforts.
  • Tech-savvy with a deep understanding of the IT landscape, enabling you to position solutions that align with client needs.
  • Experience building strong, lasting relationships with potential clients, from initial contact to closed deals.
  • A track record of successfully selling to start-ups, SMBs, and enterprises, leveraging your ability to connect with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and independent in managing day-to-day outbound sales activities, including lead generation, cold outreach, and pipeline management.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive), using it to track progress and strategize outreach.

  • An existing network of decision-makers at startups and mid-sized international organizations, allowing you to quickly open doors.
  • Fluency in additional languages, enhancing your ability to connect with a broader range of clients.
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Understanding of Account-Based Engagement and Social Selling to support targeted outreach and client engagement.

You will

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close outbound sales opportunities, using innovative strategies to reach potential clients through networking, cold outreach and personalized connections.
  • Represent the company at tech events, conferences, and networking sessions, building a robust professional network and generating new leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, bringing market insights and client feedback to adjust marketing and outreach strategies for maximum impact.
  • Work closely with the team to identify new target audiences, tapping into emerging markets and industries.
  • Continuously adapt the sales cycle to align with client needs and optimize the approach based on feedback and results.
  • Stay informed on new technologies, trends, and competitor activities to sharpen your outreach strategies and value propositions.

35,000 GBP - 45,000 GBP + Double OTE
