Oracle EBS Senior Functional Analyst

 

  • Clearance Requirement: Interim Secret minimum, Secret maximum
  • Work Arrangement: Remote

  • Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
 
Position Overview

 

BizFirst is assisting our client in the search of a full-time Oracle EBS Senior Functional Analyst. The Oracle EBS Senior Functional Analyst will engage in gathering, refining, and documenting client business requirements for software changes, helping translate these into functional design solutions. You will play a key role in various projects related to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials and Projects R12, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and maintaining high-quality project artifacts.

 

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop project artifacts such as system requirements documents, test plans, and test scripts in line with project schedules.
  • Create functional design and configuration documents.
  • Provide support with clarifying and revising requirements throughout the release cycle.
  • Participate in and support customer and stakeholder meetings.
  • Document discussions and decisions from project meetings.
  • Work with technical and quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are clear and actionable.
  • Perform functional testing of developed solutions.
  • Update documentation, including requirements traceability matrices (RTM), after each release.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with developers and other team members.
  • Follow system development life cycle (SDLC) guidelines to ensure documentation meets required standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Development of integrations and data migrations materials.

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a functional or requirements analyst for Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12.
  • Experience in Oracle EBS processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), General Ledger (GL), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated experience in systems and data analysis, including an understanding of the SDLC.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • US Citizenship required.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project.
  • Oracle Certified Professional certification.
