Job Description

The Manager, Network Services is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the organization's network infrastructure. This includes all wireless and wired local area networks (W/LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet connections. The Manager is also responsible for developing and implementing network security policies and procedures, and for ensuring that the organization's network meets its business needs.

This role is remote, however, candidates in the following MasterBrand locations are preferred:  Jasper, IN and Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing a team of network engineers, technicians, and analysts.

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for the network infrastructure, aligning it with business needs and growth goals.

  • Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing talent within the network services team.

  • Establishing and enforcing performance metrics and standards for the network team.

  • Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

  • Possessing a deep understanding of network technologies, protocols, and security best practices.

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and innovations in network solutions.

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining critical network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

  • Monitoring and analyzing network performance metrics to identify and troubleshoot issues proactively.

  • Managing disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure minimal downtime in case of network outages.

  • Establishing effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and end users.

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment of network services with overall business objectives.

  • Clearly communicating complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in network management, with a focus on hardware, software, and security.

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of network technologies and trends.

  • Proven knowledge with designing and implementing SDWAN technologies

  • Experience in working with telco and data telecommunication providers

  • Experience in developing and implementing network security policies and procedures.

  • Experience in managing a team of network engineers and technicians.

  • Experience in managing and configuring Cisco Switches, Rotuers, Firewalls, Wireless

  • Experience in managing and configuring Fortinet SDWAN and FortiManager Orchestration

  • Cisco SIP Trunking (CUBE/CUCM)

  • Microsoft Azure Network Configuration and Express Route

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
