We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Specialist!

 

The responsibilities for this Contract Specialist position include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting various client contract agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, and large engineering services contracts.
  • Negotiating the terms and conditions within client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.
  • Working with clients in a professional manner.
  • Establishing rapport and working relationships with high levels of management.
  • Performing special assignments or projects as required.

 

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in our Wilmington, Delaware office and working remotely from home. 

Qualifications:

This position requires:

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a business, insurance, engineering, or law.
  • 7+ years of experience with drafting and negotiating of legal contract terms and conditions.
  • 7+ years of experience with contract reviews; including the interpretation and analyzation of concepts to align our corporate risk profile.
  • Detail orientated, schedule driven, and well-organized with strong ability to manage numerous projects and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions.
  • Ability to make educated judgement calls, solve problems, and take initiatives necessary to perform job functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently, and professionally within all levels of the company regarding complex issues.
  • Knowledgeable regarding corporate insurance programs within professional services, engineering, and/or construction industries.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contractual matters.
  • Team player and self-starter with ability to complete projects on schedule.
  • Federal Government contracting knowledge is a plus.
  • May be required to travel on an occasional basis.
