Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work independently to resolve complex data analytics and reporting requests from client
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Resolve client care Power BI tickets at the senior consultant level in an efficient manner
Review inbound cases
Outlining the scope, timeline, resources, and budget required to implement solutions successfully while setting realistic expectations and milestones for activities
Actively manage and track updates on assigned work from clients and other consultants
Ensure progression and escalate as required
- Assist clients in creating new Power BI reports and enhancements
Analyse and document underlying data requirements
Review and estimate new reports based on Functional Design specifications
Collaborate with other consultants to satisfy client requests and required design
Design, create and troubleshoot Power BI reports, semantic models and underlying source system data, collaborating with client care resources and clients through all stages of the case through to resolution
- Ensure all cases are kept updated and clear status is communicated
- Assist in implementation project delivery work as required
- Strategic initiatives
Follows Technology directions and priorities and takes responsibility for executing Technology strategy
Responsible for delivering specific dedicated internal strategic initiatives – including process design, documentation, resource planning, sales activities, and status reporting
Achieves quarterly Client Care goals
Minimum And/Or Preferred Qualifications
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certified (PL-300)
- 3+ years of experience SQL
- 3+ years of experience transforming data to support semantic models using SQL and Power BI
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing reporting solutions using Power BI
- Candidate should have experience in the following industries and related business process data stories: Distribution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail/ Consumer Goods
- Experience in developing semantic models following star schema best practices for Power BI
- Experience with Data Lakehouse architecture and related technologies
- Experience in gathering reporting requirements directly from business stakeholders.
- Experience designing engaging visualizations and user interfaces for reports to support business process requirements
- Experience developing solutions with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric and other data sources
- Experience with Git version control and Azure Dev Ops
- Familiarity with security configuration and security policies within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Effective multitasker who can work on a variety of competing tasks at the same time
Additional Qualifications
- Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Experience with AX2012/Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, or other ERP data model.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones.
- Experience providing Managed services
