Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) strategically aligned with the unique needs of each student.
• Deliver instruction in core academic subjects, as well as specialized content as dictated by students’ IEPs.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting instructional techniques as necessary to foster ongoing development.
• Maintain transparent communication with students, families, and educational staff to share progress updates and resolve any concerns.
• Engage in virtual team meetings and partake in professional development initiatives to refine instructional methodologies.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to cultivate an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

• Demonstrated experience working with students possessing a range of diverse learning needs and effectively implementing IEPs.
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual teaching platforms and educational technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline (Master's degree is preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Pennsylvania.
