Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Site Safety Manager, Site Quality Manager, Project Owner

Supervises:

Site Superintendents, Site QA/QC Inspectors, Estimators, Pre-Construction Managers, Engineers

 

Job Summary:

The Battery Storage Project Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of battery storage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding battery energy storage systems (BESS), including design, configuration, optimization, and construction. The ideal candidate will manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet all operational, budgetary, and technical standards.

 

Additional Activities/ Responsibilities/ Duties:

  • Acts as an advocate for Signal Energy, LLC by promoting all company policies and procedures and promoting a positive attitude towards the goals of each Must always represent Signal Energy professionally.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of battery storage projects.
  • Participate in the conceptual development/estimating of the project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality and cost-effective project components.
  • Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including schematics, work orders, and safety protocols.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery storage technology and industry trends to incorporate into project strategies.
  • Constantly solves problems and resolves issues through face to face and personal
  • Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
    • contract administration
    • schedule management
    • maintaining budget & cost reports
    • financial analysis
    • project staffing
    • oversight & mentoring of key project staff positions
    • investigation of non-conformance issues and implementation of corrective measures
    • risk management
    • safety & quality control.

 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

  • Knowledge of technical, administration, and management of all phases of BESS project
  • Experience with substation design and construction is preferred.
  • Knowledge of public and construction safety and security issues and
  • Excellent mathematical skills, including application, and use in problem
  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical
  • Ability to lead and coordinate own and others’ actions, manage own time and manage personnel
  • Sensitivity to problems; ability to tell or predict when something is wrong; able to revise and adapt as
  • Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and reasoning
  • Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and
  • Computer literacy and proficiency using Viewpoint, Primavera Contractor, MS Project, and MS Office

 

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or related area
  • Minimum 2 years project management experience battery storage projects. Minimum 5 years project management
  • Strong technical understanding of battery storage technologies.

 

Certificates/Licenses:  PMP, OSHA 10 hr. minimum, First Aid/CPR
