Job Overview

Join our dynamic software development team as a DevSecOps Engineer, where you will play an integral role in enhancing applications for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. In this fully remote position, you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing a tech stack that includes Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript. We are looking for a proactive individual who can navigate independent tasks while knowing when to collaborate with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance our existing GitLab software development environment.
  • Implement automated monitoring for software testing and deployments.
  • Research and deploy automated security scanning tools.
  • Improve security logging practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical and policy documentation.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in deploying and operating web applications within a Linux environment.
  • Familiarity with Docker or similar container technologies.
  • Understanding of DoD DevSecOps policies and practices.
  • Experience in writing CI/CD pipelines for software testing and deployment.
  • Strong writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain IAT Level II DoD certifications.
