Senior Data Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines and data warehouses (Snowflake) to support both batch and real-time use cases.
• Optimize and tune query performance, data loads, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve code or data issues through innovative, concise solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, and North America) to establish design standards, create solution documents, and conduct cross-training and onboarding activities.
• Participate in the global SDLC process by producing artifacts, conducting peer code reviews, and performing unit tests.
• Work with Jira/Kanban for task management and utilize Confluence for documentation.
• Debug SQL queries and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with multiple business and IT stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in data integration and orchestration services.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools such as Talend Cloud Data Integration.
• Proficient in SQL with strong debugging skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Snowflake, including database query and performance tuning.
• Experience in service architecture and providing data-driven solutions to client needs.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
• Previous experience with tools such as Qlik Replicate and Compose (Change Data Capture) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of third-party data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, or other rating agencies is beneficial.
