Senior Android Developer (E-Wallet Product, Fully Remote)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an International Technology Services Provider, with focus at offering ISO-compliant Mobile Driving Licenses, Mobile IDs and overall, Wallet Apps, is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their Product Team.

📌 Location: Greece  

📍 Working Model: Fully Remote (you need to be based in Greece and holder of a valid EU Work Permit)

What you will do:

As a Senior Android Developer for an innovative E-Wallet product, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of secure mobile wallet applications. Working remotely, you will collaborate with a dedicated team in Greece to enhance features that focus on secure digital identities and mobile driving licenses. Your expertise in Android development will contribute to creating cutting-edge solutions for ISO-compliant Mobile Driving Licenses, Mobile IDs, and comprehensive Wallet Apps. Our client is committed to fostering a friendly working environment and is seeking a contractor who is open to a long-term commitment.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Mentoring junior developers, leading by example in terms of code quality and engineering best practices
• Conducting thorough unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, ensuring robustness and reliability
• Staying up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols within the mobile landscape, especially regarding Android development
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in Android development with strong knowledge of Kotlin.
• At least 1-2 years of experience with Android Jetpack (e.g., Navigation, WorkManager, Room, etc.)
• Proficiency in Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries for integrating mobile applications
• Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle development
• Expertise in implementing security frameworks and ensuring compliance with data encryption standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 

Will be highly appreciated:

• Experience in problem analysis and delivering end-to-end (E2E) solutions.
