Job description

TechFlow Inc. seeks to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Subcontracts Administrator/Manager to join our team remotely. This role is essential for managing and overseeing subcontracting activities for our Energy and Mobility Solutions Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in federal construction contracts and subcontracts, with extensive knowledge of the Department of Defense (DOD) environment and relevant state, local, and federal regulations. Experience working in both large and small business environments is highly desirable, as you will be responsible for coordinating with multiple local subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and managing a high volume of subcontracting work efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and administer subcontracting processes for TechFlow’s Energy and Mobility Solutions Business Unit, ensuring adherence to federal construction contracts and regulations.
  • Ensure all subcontracting activities comply with DOD regulations, as well as state, local, and federal construction contract requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for multiple local subcontractors, managing communications and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements, modifications, and terminations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of subcontract agreements, amendments, and performance evaluations. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Address and resolve any issues or disputes related to subcontract agreements or compliance matters.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field).
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience with progressively increased responsibility.
  • Proven experience as a Subcontracts Specialist or Administrator, with a focus on federal construction contracts and subcontracts.
  • In-depth understanding of the DOD environment and its regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of state, local, and federal regulations related to construction contracts.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of work efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security Clearance.
