You'll be responsible for

  • Acting as a technical referral and escalation point for claims staff, assisting with technical advice and disputes.

  • Identifying trends from technical complaints to improve customer and business outcomes.

  • Supporting the Quality Assurance Framework, providing training at individual and team levels, and assist with onboarding new staff.

  • Managing a portfolio of claims, making commercial decisions that benefit Allianz and the customer, adhering to the General Insurance Code of Practice.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across Allianz and for supporting the delivery of Group TEX frameworks.

 

About you

  • Experience in claims assessment/management within a complex general insurance organization, managing commercial claims.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or ANZIFF/Industry equivalent.

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing a claims team at a technical level.

  • High-level knowledge and understanding of property claims products.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage competing priorities and demands, and navigate complexity to provide pragmatic commercial solutions.
