What will you do?

Your primary responsibility will revolve around creating, implementing, and managing software contracts, providing legal and contractual support to internal stakeholders across the organization, and fostering a strong working relationship with them.

You will be tasked with creating, reviewing, and participating in the negotiation of material purchasing contracts and proposals, working closely with business owners.

The Senior Legal Counsel is based in the Netherlands and will assist the General Counsel as required.

Your responsibilities include:

• Offering contract support (Sales, CSM, and Purchase).
• Supporting the Sales department with onboarding of new customers (creating standards/ templates, reviewing customer Papers, negotiating together with Sales).
• Supporting Sales/ CSM with renewals.
• Supporting Purchase for all functions where applicable.

What are we looking for?

• You have a Master of Laws from a Dutch university and a minimum of 5-6 years of post-qualification experience as a (business) lawyer.
• Extensive experience with software contracts within an international SaaS company.
• A commercial lawyer with a strong interest in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Ability to show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders.
• A problem-solver with an ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues.
• An agile person with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
• Strong communication skills and working proficiency (verbal and written) in Dutch and English.
• German and/or French language skills are a plus.
